I am certainly no expert so could use a little help with figuring out the particulars about these heads. I got these from an estate clean out and have absolutely no history on them. Pair of cast iron cylinder heads for a 1932 to 1936 Ford flathead engine as shown in the photos.
The left driver side head is marked and l1 normal numbers to my knowledge.
The heads both appear to be in very good condition with no signs of cracks or damage. It was suggested that they might be high compression chambers used for police motors to gain an edge on hot-rod moonshine runners. In any case I don't know if these things are really rare or nothing special and the starting price is low. So please drop me a message you anything about heads.
In an effort to keep your cost as low possible I usually ship by USPS standard post which is the least expensive shipping method for domestic us. I have never seen nor could find information on anything similar. The right side head has no markings other than a number 4 cast into lower front corner. The only issue I detect is some minor corrosion around 3 large coolant passages.
I did not chase the spark plug threads but they look fine.
