Cost me 500 to get this set of aluminum heads resurfaced slightly. I had full intentions of rebuilding my 1987 Mercedes 5. 001, steam cleaned, pressure tested, valves checked for straightness, a couple were replaced with new valves, the engine had approximately 147,000 miles on it. 6 engine, but sold the car, and kept the engine parts I had spent money on.
