A 1934 thru 1937 Chrysler airflow straight 8 cylinder aluminium head in very nice used condition. I am asking 1/2 of that cost for this original and airflow owners club correct 1934 thru 1937 Chrysler year cars. The spark plug hole was re drilled to a correct center, and then 18mm threaded using Bridgeport precision milling machine.
I understand that these heads are being re-produced, but at a cost of this head has the airflow only, correct side water inlet flange rather than more common non-airflow, top located. The spark plug hole was aluminium high frequency helix arc filled in. When I obtained the head from a collector many years ago, one spark plug hole was threaded for an oversize non-18mm as early in its life original threads were damaged due to cross threading.
Most of the original airflow aluminium heads, when and if found, are internally corrosion thinned due to methanol base anti freeze coolant used way back when, un-repairable. This head is internally corrosion free and has been in an airflow parts collection for many years. There are no cracks or faults in this head whatsoever.
