Details:

Donor was a 1954 Plymouth P25 passenger vehicle, 23.5 long cylinder head. Internal coolant bypass note 'bump' on front edge of cylinder head. Thickness/ height of the head at bolt bosses measures out to 1.946, using vernier calipers and my old eyes. All threads good; no broken nor stuck fasteners.

As with any vintage flathead, better plan on popping out the Welsh plug and having head hot tanked, machined/decked to your specifications. Large diameter coolant temperature hole for mechanical gauge setup Bordon'tube.
