I have cleaned some of the carbon build up on heads but didn't quite finish so they are actually cleaner than pictures posted. Oil changes were done regularly with full synthetic and there was an oil catch can for most of this motors life. These heads came with a 2008 Jeep that I bought couple of years ago 44,000 miles on it and I'm only selling these because upgrading to brand new set ported aftermarket.
