I see a lot of abused heads for sale - these are not typical rejects that need time and money. This item is an excellent cylinder head as shown. Cams and valves are included as shown but will need the buckets. He was probably in the process of reconditioning it because valves look new.

Numbers are RA7204-9. I do not think the head has ever been surfaced and may need a very light skim before installation just because it sitting for so long. The factory original paint is Pumpkin Orange. It is a V2862-8 head for an XK150, MK8, MK2 in original Duck Head Green.

He was a meticulous Jaguar owner and his parts were in excellent order. Passage of time now tells me different - will never use them. Years ago a friend passed away and left me his collection of Jaguar parts, which I have kept stored now for 40 some years, thinking would need them someday.
