Very nice piece for sure. There has been no damage or repairs of any kind. It has been in my storage for 14 years.

Yes, this is an actual intake from one of those cars. There is some minor casting pitting on the thermostat gasket surface and very fine pitting on the intake gasket surface, but no where near the point of needing any surface work.

Here is a Gm aluminum intake from a 1981 Chevrolet Corvette or Camaro z 28. I would rate the gasket surfaces 8 out of a 10 and overall I would rate this intake a 9 out of 10. Yet you see those intakes listed on here as being a Corvette or z28 intake, when in fact they are not.
