The valve guide bosses are smaller on these early castings and flow a lot better. This is an early head casting no. This head casting has not been modified except for the fitting of valve seats for use with unleaded gas petrol.

Fitted with new standard size valves, seals, guides and lead free seats recently and just checked for cracks and machined for flatness. 1 and is very accurately cast and even has production numbers stamped on it. A rebuilt 12G940 cylinder head for a BC Leland 1275 engine.
