Details:

I bought these heads at an estate sale along with a lot of other gm stuff. The outside cartons were so rotten that they crumbled when moving out of storage. The rust is primarily on outside surface and would clean up well with a hot tanking before assembly. As you can see from the pictures, they are somewhat rusty.

The block mating surface and valve seat areas look clean smooth.
