72 exhaust and are 112cc heads. One head has water plug that we could not remove, is leaking. This offer is for a rare set of gm part big block Chevrolet heads. Gm has said that 781 and 049 open chamber heads have the most enshrouded valve chambers of all their stock.

These heads do need a valve job, looks like all seats will grind fine. They have been hot tanked, cleaned, , for cracks and also caked straightness are good heads. Many hot rod articles have done engine builds with 454, 468 and 496 used 781 casting heads as a cheaper gm hi perf head of course added larger cam kit, good intake carb headers made up to 625 Hp.

They come from gm with bare cast iron large oval port 049 Bbc heads. Pic is generic, they are my best selling heads.
